until 5 July 2025

Galleria Eugenia Delfini is delighted to present Things that will never become objects, Caterina Silva’s s first solo show at the gallery. The exhibition includes paintings from two pictorial cycles created by the artist in the last two years and several three-dimensional works.

In the paintings from ‘Things that will never become objects’ cycle (2023-), and those from the series ‘Divide et Impera’ (2024-), Silva records images that come from a variety of sources such as online platforms, art history and his personal life, and through a process of appropriation, modification and re-signification she gives back reality in the form of her own personal alphabet composed of more or less controlled gestures, material markings, irreverent spray signs, smoky colour foams, and digital white fields.
